Just Tricks
This is a laid back, fun class for those of you who just like to get out and spend time with your dog in a class setting. Pick and choose the things you would like to work on with your dog. In this class you will learn how to teach your dog tricks such as shake, wave, play dead, sit up, roll over, crawl, and more. If you wish, teach your dog to jump hurdles and maybe even go through the agility tunnel. This is the class to just come and play! Prerequisite for this class is a Basic Obedience class series. "Tricks class is a perfect complement to the Canine Companion Classes. Tricks class is more laid back and we work with our dogs at our own pace. Just one trick example is we take a basic command such as down and turn it into roll-over and/or play dead. Kris has a list of tricks you can learn or you can make up your own, it's all up to you! The emphasis is on fun and I particularly enjoy watching all of the individual dogs different personalities shine through. My dog Sandy is a little show-off and she and I have a great time. "WOW! Dillon, my adorable spoiled rotten one year old Cockapoo and I just finished Kris's Trick Class. What a blast! We were given lots of choices of tricks to teach our dogs. The way the class was set up you could pick the trick you thought your dog could handle or you wanted them to learn, and work on it. Most all of us were teaching a different trick each week with Kris right there to guide us and help as we needed her. I also enjoyed sending Dillon through the tunnel and playing with the teeter totter. The different things to do let Dillon have a break and try somehting new. He loved it all.
